It is not necessary, to give us a contact address. But (if your password was lost or something else) we can help you only, if we could verify identity of the the user of an account. We may verify your identity by an OpenPGP signed message (if you were using OpenPGP) or by your contact address.

the service may decrypt this information, if it was nessecary to help you.
